Omega Speedmaster Moonwatch 105.003-64 “Ed White” from 1964 Watch + Box

Greetings.  Thanks for looking at this beautiful timepiece. We are a 5-star seller with thousands of watches sold and delivered around the world.

Presenting a highly sought-after 39mm Omega Speedmaster “Ed White” Moonwatch Model: 105.003-64

This pre-owned fan-favourite from 1964 comes with Watch and Box and is a stunning piece of important Omega history.

It is in full working order and its legendary Omega Calibre 321 movement is a stunning work of mechanical art.

It has not been serviced recently but has been unworn for the last 10 years or so.

It is in excellent pre-owned condition as shown the photos which are of the actual watch, so please buy with total peace of mind.

It will fit up to 19/20cm wrist plus micro-clasp adjustments.

The period of this 105.003-64 is extremely active in the development of some of the constituent components, giving rise to an abundance of model variants. It is also the most important chapter in the OMEGA story for it includes the models that took part in the exploration of space and the Moon.

It is from this period that the Speedmaster became known to watch enthusiasts and to the general public as the watch that went into space and then onto the Moon – the Moonwatch.

Reference ST 105.003 is the last of the Speedmasters with straight lugs, also known as the pre-Professional. The ST105.003 passed the tough NASA selection tests in 1965 to become the official and exclusive timepiece of the astronauts on the Gemini missions.

The ST 105.003 is called the “Ed White” by Omega enthusiasts after the first astronaut to walk in space during the Gemini IV mission.

Despite having less developed technical features than its contemporary, the Professional ST 105.012 (lack of protection for the pushers and crown), the ST 105.003 remained unchanged until the end of its production run in early 1969.

Note that sub-reference 105.003-65 much more common than the 105.003-63

and 105.003-64. because there was no new case reference after 1965.
