Greetings.  Thanks for looking at this beautiful timepiece. We are a 5-star seller with many hundreds of watches sold and delivered around the world.

Presenting a discontinued 40mm Rolex Milgauss with black dial; Reference 116400GV; a masterpiece of quirky craftsmanship from Rolex.

This timepiece is from 2015 and is a full set, complete with Watch, Box, Manuals, Warranty Card + Hang Tags.

It is in very good pre-owned condition as shown the photos and is running to modern day Rolex precision.

It was fully serviced in December 2023, so please buy with total peace of mind.

The Rolex Oyster Perpetual Milgauss is a wristwatch model introduced by Rolex in 1956 with model number 6541. The Milgauss was advertised as “designed to meet the demands of the scientific community working around electromagnetic fields”

The name Milgauss is a word created by Rolex, Mil comes from Mille, French for 1000, and Gauss, a unit of measurement of magnetic fields. The Rolex Milgauss is a watch designed by Rolex to withstand high levels of electromagnetism, originally designed for scientists and other professionals.

The “GV” in the reference number stands for “Glace Verte,” indicating the watch’s distinctive green-tinted sapphire crystal

The Milgauss 116400GV features a 40mm stainless steel case, a lightning bolt-shaped orange seconds hand, and unique orange hour markers at 3, 6, and 9 o’clock.

In March 2023 we said goodbye to the Milgauss, Rolex’s specifically anti-magnetic “scientist’s watch.

This is the second wave of Milgauss discontinuations that we’ve seen. Years back, we saw Rolex phase out the ref. 116400 non-green crystal black and white dial models.

That means no more green crystal, no more orange lightning bold seconds hand, no more bi-color lume and yellow lume plots (in the black dial iteration).

It held the mantle as one of the wildest-looking Rolex sport models of the modern era, and was one of the longest running modern references dating back to 2007.

CONDITION:
Overall: Very Good pre-owned condition with very few wear marks.
Crystal: Perfect.
Case: Very Good with a few barely visible surface marks.
Bracelet: Very Good with a few barely visible surface marks.
Box & Papers:  Very Good.
