Greetings.  Thanks for looking at this watch. We are a 5-star seller with many hundreds of watches sold and delivered around the world.

Presenting the exquisite 36mm Heuer Carrera Reference 2447S; a masterpiece of elegance and craftsmanship from HEUER.

This watch is from 1968 to 1971 and is sold as watch only (no box or papers)

The watch is in good pre-owned condition as shown the photos.

It was serviced in May 2026 and runs nicely and functions as it should.

The timepiece is on a black leather strap that is not a Heuer (strap or buckle).  The lugs are 19mm if you wish to change.

The Heuer Carrera was launched in 1963, soon after the Autavia making it the second named watch in the Heuer line-up.

The Carrera 2447 has a simple three register dial with inner chapter ring and elegant 36mm diameter case housing the impressive fan-favourite Valjoux 72 movement.

Two executions covered a period of 7 years; the first having plain steel applied hour markers and plain steel hands (like this one) and the second with shorter steel markers with coloured inset with matching steel hands.

The case remained the same throughout its life with early examples having a hex type back and Ed Heuer signed movement​.

Heuer watches from this era embody the modernism that began in the early 1960’s with simple, well-proportioned designs that are aesthetically pleasing and functional. This was the time of Jack Heuer, who led the company into this new age by embracing contemporary design and advancements in technology.

This ethos continued beyond the 1960’s and into the quartz and digital age.

The Heuer watches from this period are his legacy and are much admired and sought after by enthusiasts from around the world.

CONDITION:

Overall: Good ORIGINAL pre-owned condition with light, visible wear marks.
Crystal: condition is good for its age with a few imperfections on the crystal edges.
Case: Very Good – with a few light visible surface marks
Leather Strap: Excellent
