Greetings.  Thanks for looking at this beautiful timepiece. We are a 5-star seller with thousands of watches sold and delivered around the world.

Presenting a wonderful 9 carat yellow gold vintage Omega Ref: 132.5017  from circa 1979.

This manually wound, 33.5mm x 8.9mm timepiece with date function is in a delightful pre-owned condition as shown in the photos and the rhodium plated Omega calibre 1030 was serviced in March 2024 and is running strong, so please buy with total peace of mind.

What makes this watch interesting is the inscription on the case back.  This might be especially interesting to any Omega collectors who are also football / soccer enthusiasts.

It reads “IN APPRECIATION.  Presented to Alf Ramsey by Eric Katz.   1959 to 1979”

Sir Alfred Ernest Ramsey was an English football player and manager. As a player, he represented the England national team and captained the side, but he is best known for his time as England manager from 1963 to 1974, which included guiding them to victory in the 1966 FIFA World Cup.

The gentleman who owned this watch was an “an absolute football nut” as described to me.

There is no paperwork to corroborate the authenticity / provenance of the inscription so your decision making will come down to your “gut feel.

We have no reason to doubt the authenticity.

Crystal: Condition is perfect.

Case: Very Good with a few light visible surface blemishes.

Leather Bracelet: (Not Omega) Very Good with a few wear imperfections.

I am based in the UK.  For watches delivered to the UK, there are no import fees or duties.

Watches being delivered anywhere outside of the UK will be subject to customs fees (Import taxes).  This is usually your local sales tax (VAT / GST, IVA) percentage on top of the price of the watch.

DDU means ‘Delivery, Duty Unpaid’.
This means you, the importer / receiver of the watch is responsible to pay any Sales Tax or duties to your local customs or the courier company to release the goods from customs before being delivered to you.
