Presenting this attractive and increasingly collectible vintage Rolex Oyster Perpetual Date, reference 1500, featuring a 34mm stainless-steel case, smooth bezel and classic black dial.

Its 3,155,XX serial number dates the watch to approximately 1972.

This vintage timepiece is offered as watch only, with no original box or papers.

The watch is in good pre-owned condition for its age, as shown in the photographs, which are of the actual timepiece. The stainless-steel case presents well, with only a few light surface swirlies consistent with careful previous wear.

The acrylic crystal is in very good condition.

The watch was fully serviced in July 2026 and is running beautifully, so please buy with complete peace of mind.

It is fitted to a black leather strap, which is not Rolex. The strap is used but remains in good condition and is fitted with a non-Rolex pin buckle.

CONDITION

Overall: Good pre-owned condition for a vintage timepiece dating from approximately 1972, with light signs of previous wear.

Acrylic Crystal: Very good condition, with a clear appearance.

Case: Good condition, with a few light surface swirlies consistent with careful previous use. No significant dents or deep marks.

Dial and Hands: Present well for their age. Please study the detailed photographs carefully, as these form an important part of the condition report.

Leather Strap: Non-Rolex black leather strap. Used but in good condition, with some light signs of previous wear.

Buckle: Non-Rolex pin buckle.

Movement: Fully serviced in July 2026 and running beautifully at the time of listing.

This watch will be packaged securely and dispatched using a fully tracked and insured delivery service.

I am based in the UK.  For watches delivered to the UK, there are no import fees or duties.

Watches being delivered anywhere outside of the UK will be subject to customs fees (Import taxes).  This is usually your local sales tax (VAT / GST, IVA) percentage on top of the price of the watch.

DDU means ‘Delivery, Duty Unpaid’.
This means you, the importer / receiver of the watch is responsible to pay any Sales Tax or duties to your local customs or the courier company to release the goods from customs before being delivered to you.
