Presenting the exquisite 36mm Rolex Precision Reference 6424; a masterpiece of elegance and craftsmanship.

This manually wound timepiece is from 1965 and comes with original Rolex Box.

Serviced in Feb 2024, this watch is in superb condition for its age and is a stunning piece of Rolex history; like a Rolex time capsule.

This is truly a luxurious instrument for the horology enthusiast who appreciates fine timepieces.

It would make an excellent gateway timepiece for a someone looking for their first acquisition into the wonderful world of Rolex, or indeed for a seasoned enthusiast / collector alike.

Rolex Oyster ref: 6424.The watch appears to have had a very easy life, making it super preserved (as part of a collection) and a stunning collectors piece.

The gorgeous creamy coloured dial is beautiful to behold and looks even more beautiful in real life.  The photos don’t do it justice.

The “Swiss only” dial is original and beautifully preserved and the straight hour indices that complement the striking Alpha shaped hands.

Dating from around 1965, this is one of the last Rolex models that includes this type of configuration.The 6424 has a case diameter of 36mm, and the overall length (including lugs) is a very agreeable 43mm with a delightfully slender 10mm; offering the perfect balance of wrist presence and subtle wearing.  At 36mm in diameter, this is one of the largest vintage Rolex Oyster models for the time. It is also a very light watch at just +/- 40g so it sits gently on the wrist. A masterpiece of sophistication.

There is 20mm between the lugs and on the 6424 there are no lugs holes.

The watch is supplied with a non-Rolex brown leather strap and original Rolex Pin / buckle.

Case: Very Good with a few light, visible surface blemishes.
Plastic Crystal: Condition is Excellent..
Leather Strap: Very Good with a few pre-owned creases
Box:  Excellent.
